Properties are offered for sale at exactly the same price as they are in France, our appointed associate agents share their commission with Latitudes and do not make any extra charge. This longstanding association with our personally vetted agencies allows us to offer a comprehensive service without the need to charge our clients, unlike some agencies based in the UK.

Our service offers you, our clients, the possibility of meeting with several different independent agencies through which you can view properties and have the benefit of assistance and advice from an agency based in England with 17 years experience of the French system. We will assist you throughout the search and purchase procedure at no extra cost.

Our agents are practised in the sale of properties to non-French purchasers and together we can offer a full purchasing service, from assistance in dealing with the contracts to purchase, help and advice on opening a bank account, registering for gas, electricity and telephone, obtaining estimates for work etc. There is no extra charge.

We have approximately 10,000 properties on our books; this brochure contains just a sample selection to give an idea of the prices and styles of properties available in each area.

We will arrange for you to view the selection of properties that you have chosen.

We will check with all our agents in the area as to additional properties they may have available to offer you.

We will help you plan your viewing itinerary and canrecommend hotels and best routes etc.

Most of our agents speak English.
Our agents will have all the information on your requirements that you have provided to us so that they are well prepared and put your time in France to its best use.

Our agents are professionals and will discuss your requirements with you when you meet to be sure to offer you all suitable properties.

They will accompany you to view all the properties that you wish to see. They may also contact their local associates to locate further suitable properties.

Bon de Visite ? some agents will require you to sign this form prior to making visits to properties. This is just to confirm that they are taking you to see the properties listed on it, it does not commit you to anything. Normally they will keep a copy for their records, send a copy to the vendor and give you a copy

Purchase of New Property - 'off-plan'
When buying a property that has not been built yet ? ie buying ?off-plan? - you will need to be prepared to wait for your property, as normally building doesn?t start until much of the development is sold. You will be able to view the site and situation of your property. You may also be able to view similar properties that the developer has completed.

Occasionally we can offer a development in a refurbished property, in which case you can view the building.

New developments provide a ready to move into property and also offer the possibility of making friends as most purchasers will be taking possession of their properties at the same time, so it is an opportunity to meet like-minded people of different nationalities.

We have seen the prices of these properties rise so that their value is often higher before you even take possession. You need to be aware that many developers will increase prices every few months for the properties not yet sold on a development. Prices for new developments are not usually negotiable.
